This is a 2 oz Silver High Relief Round sold by APMEX. The round is not a legal tender coin and is struck in a smaller 39 mm format, creating a thicker look and feel. It contains 2 oz of .999 fine Silver. The obverse depicts Miss Liberty with a diadem of spikes, while the reverse features an eagle perched on a rock with a laurel branch and the inscription "PEACE." Designed by Anthony De Francisci, the Peace Dollar was first produced in December of 1921.
