Origin Story
South African Gold Krugerrand coins have been in continuous production since 1967, with over 50 million ounces of gold coins sold. They were one of the first modern bullion coins available for private ownership, with the primary objective being to market South Africa’s abundant gold reserves. Its counterpart, the Silver Krugerrand was introduced in 2017 to commemorate the Gold Krugerrand's 50th anniversary.
