This is a 1/4 oz Gold Panda coin sold by APMEX. Sealed in original plastic from the Chinese Mint, it is the only year to feature the "S" mint mark. Contains 1/4 oz of .999 fine gold. The obverse depicts the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, while the reverse features a panda drinking from a river against a backdrop of bamboo.
