This is a 1 oz Gold Panda coin sold by APMEX. The coin is packaged in protective plastic and is the only year to feature the "S" mint mark, with a mintage of approximately 84,000 coins. It contains 1 oz of .999 fine Gold. The obverse depicts the Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, while the reverse features a panda drinking from a river against a backdrop of bamboo.
