The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia with the value of "10000 DRAM" and the year 2012. The reverse, designed by Eduard Kurghinyan, shows a dove with an olive branch and Noah’s Ark in front of Mt. Ararat and the rising sun.
